A BIG THANK YOU to everyone that has volunteered so far for this year’s boxing day dip. Its never to late to join in, just contact Melissa Sowerby on Spond or in person. The sponsorship forms will be available at the club Gala. Melissa Sowerby will be organising the registrations and collecting in the entry fees.
The parade leaves the Marine Hotel car park at 11:30am prompt, therefore we would advise getting there early. The marine hotel will be serving breakfast buns and hot drinks from 10am.
Parade Route
The Parade(DIP) will commence from the car park of the Marine Hotel, it will then turn left and head north, cross the main road at the junction with Seaton Lane and then use the slipway ramp to access the beach. Dippers will then be encouraged to run towards the sea.
There will be 6 rooms total supplied by the Marine Hotel, 3 male and 3 female, for people wishing to dry off and get changed post dipping….
Attire: If you could wear something BASC related, that would be great but not essential if you don’t have anything. Feel free to bring along the rubber rings, arm bands or full on fancy dress.
