This weekend we had Daniel Roberts from the top sqaud competing in the Scottish National Short Course Open Swimming Championships, at the Royal Commonwealth Pool in Edinburgh – a brilliant achievement in itself!
Dan was competing in the 200m Butterfly and the 400m Freestyle over two consecutive days.
Its safe to say that Dan absolutely smashed both of his times and his races and we are incredibly proud of him!
Guy, head coach, who went with him to support, said of the weekend;
‘Dan performed really, really well, even though nerves were present, he remained controlled, his skills were good and splits were excellent throughout.
Dan is an excellent ambassador for the club through the way conducted himself to the way he performed. He is a shining example to all the other swimmers and I am beyond proud.’
