Days 1 and 2

The Northumberland & Durham Championships 2026 began this weekend at Sunderland Aquatic Centre and what a weekend of amazing swimming it was!!!

Team Billingham, you all should be very proud of yourselves so many great achievements – from initially qualifying and being there to great swims, great PB’s, fantastic skills, no one losing their nerves and LOTS of people making the finals, even winning them!!!!! 🏅🏅🏅

Special mention to Robyn who managed to secure 3 finals and with that, reach 3 gold medals! Managing to get us on that all important medals table!!!
An amazing achievement! 👏🏻

Alister even managed to show off and do the ‘worm’!!
