MASC Jingle Bell Meet took place over the weekend with our Sharks, Junior Squad, District and Potential Squads in attendance.
With Karen and Alistair on poolside to coach, Emma and Phil to manage, the swimmers were in excellent hands for encouragement, positive vibes and feedback.
All children swam and conducted themselves well, in behaviour and races. Skills were plentiful and lots of learning curves to be made.
Karen discussed how an official had actually complemented BASC on their swimmers energetic use of cheering each other on whilst also respecting the judges spaces – they said they were a credit to the club! 👏🏻
After getting asked numerous questions about races, times and lanes – a great idea came on Phil’s behalf – whereby swimmers had small temporary skin markings for the day to assist with smooth running of the event!!! 💡Thankfully, everything washes off in chlorine!!!
Happy Birthday to Olivia, who celebrated with her friends at the gala too! 🎂
