Safeguarding

The welfare of our swimmers is of great importance to us. Our Welfare Officers are Dawn Reed and Helen Crank. They are here to support parents/guardians, club members/swimmers.

Should you have any concerns about your child, or if you are a swimmer who needs to talk to someone, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Welfare Officers. They are often at the pool but they can both also be contacted via this email address –

WAVEPOWER

Billingham ASC follow the guidelines set out in Wavepower, which is Swim England’s safeguarding policy and procedures document.

Its aim is to ensure everyone is able to enjoy our sports and aquatic activity in a safe, positive and enjoyable environment in line with current legislation, regulations and guidance.

All Swim England affiliated clubs and organisations must adopt Wavepower and the current version can be found here –
